TV gave all us kids all kinds of new friends. We saw them almost every day and couldn't wait until the turn of a knob brought them into our homes for a visit.

While the adults were busy, TV became our babysitter!

These shows featured adults who were like us kids. They were pals, buddies and playmates. We learned a lot from them too!

All the kids knew that the people on TV could actually see us! They were talking to me!
